BACKRESTS

A unique postural backrest that flexes and twists to accommodate movement, Tarta backrests have been designed with the user in mind. The Tarta Orginal and Emys backrests provide maximum freedom and total comfort.
All models use patented Tarta® technology, characterised by three main elements: the “vertebrae”, the harmonic steel spring and the slats. These make up the central column which flexes and twists when stressed but returns to its starting position once the stress is over. The modular system of the vertebrae allows the column to be blocked from flexing in its entirety or just in parts, giving alternating zones of support and flex.
